Media Player 2.0 allows you to create your own PICS animations.
To do so, follow these steps:
1) Open Media Player 2.0 from the Finder.
2) Select Design Animation from the File menu.
Three windows will appear. They are The Animator on the right side (where you do your drawing and piecing together of frames), the Animation Controls Palette on the left side (this window had the drawing tools to allow you to draw frames), and the Palette Manager in the lower left.
The Palette Manager window allows you to select two dialog boxes and two palettes for changing your design. They are all fairly-regularly-used items, and you should be fairly accustomed to them. Read chapter nine for more on the Palette Manager.
The Animator is where you draw your animation. You can resize The Animator to adjust the size of the animation frames. (Remember, however: the larger the size on screen, the larger the size on disk!)
Finally, the Animation Controls Palette gives you a number of options. This is thoroughly explained in the next chapter.
